Architectural Salvage

Spend an hour or a day.  Inspire creativity.  Touch history.  Since 1985 designers, builders, collectors and curious creatives have made us a "natural resource" in their quest for the unique, the unusual and the hard-to-find. (Note from Lady Amethyst: all you steampunk makers and re-purpose-crafters will be right at home here when looking for something with which to embellish a hat or to add to your home furnishings or to attach to your next steampunk prop, and prices range from a few dollars to a few hundred dollars.  So there is something for everyone!)

Local Steampunk Merchants

Simply Local Emporium

Simply Local is a merchant marketplace featuring over 55 locally owned small-businesses that offer items such as candles, jewelry, skin care, clothing, home decor, candies, pet treats and more.  Everything is either hand crafted, home grown, recycled or embellished by the artisans and makers who retail there.  It is located next to Sea Port Village, in the quaint little "headquarters" shopping district.  Someof the local maker- Steampunks in our community offer their hand crafted items here.

The Aubrey Rose Tea Room

Fine gifts and collectibles, many reminescent of the Victorian era and early days in America, too.  They also offer a lovely tea time, which you should attend in your finest Steampunk/Victoriana attire.

Totally worth a visit, even if just for the encouraging conversation and inspiring atmosphere. Plus, it's right down the street from Eclipse Chocolat!)
